Sundance Registration Is Now Open For Utah Locals

By diana
Nov 08, 2012

Utah residents can now register online to purchase tickets for the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.  For the first time Sundance is doing the registration totally online, which means no having to wait in line!  Registration is open through 5pm on December 17th.  Then everyone that registered will get an email on December 20th with their purchase time slots that will be scheduled for Saturday January 5, and Sunday January 6.  Locals can then log on any time from their designated time slots to the close of sale on Jan. 6th to purchase tickets.   Sundance will announce the films at the end of November and the film guide will be available in early December.

If you own Park City real estate or Deer Valley real estate and don't live here full time, you will need to visit a local DMV to obtain a state ID card, which is needed when you pick up any tickets you purchased.  They only accept Utah Driver's Licenses or State ID card as acceptable forms of identification.

The Best of Fest tickets which are free to Utah residents and Townie Tuesday tickets for Summit County residents will also be done the same days of the sale of the individual tickets.  So, you only need to register once online to be able to buy either or both.  Go to www.sundance.org/locals to sign up and best of luck on getting your tickets!
