Deer Valley Resort will host the 12th annual FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup starting Wednesday Feb. 1, through Saturday, Feb. 4. The best freestyle skiers from around the world will go head to head on Deer Valley's 2002 Olympic runs.
The party begins tomorrow Feb. 1, with a free celebration and concert on lower Main Street featuring music by Robert Randolph & The Family Band, followed by a fireworks show. The festivities start at 7pm and conclude with the fireworks at 9pm.
The skiing begins with the mogul competition on Deer Valley's Champion ski run Thursday at 4:30pm. On Friday the Aerial competition begins at 1:05pm. Then on Saturday FIS concludes with the Dual Mogul competition which starts at 3pm. On all three days the competition will be followed by awards and fireworks.
