Feb 03, 2010

The Park City Board of Realtors 2009 year-end report showed that total sales volume for the entire Park City Multiple Listing area was down 17% from 2008. However; Vail Colorado total sales volume was down 60% for the same time period. The Park City-Deer Valley area property values are down 30% from the peak of 2007.

The interesting statistic from the Park City Board of Realtors showed that the Park City-Deer Valley real estate appreciation rate from 1999 to 2009 was 65%. The stock market appreciation for that same time period was 10%.
