This past weekend Craig and I attended the grand opening of the new 18 hole Rees Jones golf course at Victory Ranch Club. Members and guests were treated to a sumptuous cocktail party and outdoor dinner in the newly opened Freestone Lodge where Rees Jones, shared his thoughts on the new 7,599-yard, 18 hole course, and how it plays well for both novices as well as challenges more adept golfers. Players said it was great fun and that the fairways offered lush bent grass that would pass for signature holes on other courses.
The unique thing about Victory Ranch Club is that it offers not only world class golf, but also a private 5-mile stretch of the Provo River for fly fishing as well as equestrian stables, miles of hiking/snow shoeing, all set amongst 5,600 acres in Utah's Summit and Wasatch Counties. Victory Ranch Club is a residential community within a mountain wilderness, a wildlife refuge, and a place of indescribable beauty. And, it's all less than 20 minutes from world class skiing at Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, and The Canyons! We invite you to "check it out"!
