In Short
Simply charming! Nestled in the heart of Deer Valley® Resort’s beautiful Chateaux at Silver Lake, Bistro Toujours celebrates the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains and the aromas, flavors and ambiance of France. Come experience "la cuisine de maitre." It literally means the cooking of the master – a centuries-old French tradition of the finest chefs preparing memorable meals for the masters of the country’s grandest chateaux.
Today, cuisine de maitre at Bistro Toujours begins with crusty French baguettes served with whole-roasted garlic, and of course, a warm bienvenue for each and every guest. Under the sage direction of Chef David Kratky, the wood-burning oven puts forth flavorful, aromatic entrees served with warm hospitality. Signature dishes are complemented by a selection of outstanding French and American wines, and the informal, Euro-chic atmosphere captures the authentic touches of a true French bistro.
A Wine Spectator Award-winning restaurant in 2001-2005, Bistro Toujours was voted Utah’s Best Restaurant by Salt Lake Magazine. Bistro Toujours earned the high honor of being voted one of the "Top 50 Best New Restaurants in the World" by Condé Nast Traveler.

In Short
The Blind Dog ships in fresh East Coast jumbo lump crab meat from blue crabs each week, which also sets the restaurant apart from the other Park City Restaurants that mostly use products from the Pacific Coast and Alaska. Getting the fresh crab back east "is a huge challenge," said Pen, with Chappie adding that "everything we get is literally flown in daily." Even Derrick, who does not have a family food service history, knows a good deal about seafood, as he is a sport fisherman, and met Pen during a fishing tournament. "With a menu of "eclectic" American cuisine that - with the exception of a few favorites - changes daily.

Wahso has the look of "Shanghai in the 1930s," with coffered ceilings, gilt molding, crystal chandeliers and pieces from his wife Eva's collection of Asian antiquities, including a 5,000-pound Ming dynasty tiger and hand-carved, 300-year-old Ching dynasty warrior statues. A dozen booths with curtains function as private dining salons, where White serves dishes like seared hamachi (yellowtail) with gingered green curry and dried banana, potato-and-scallion-encrusted scallop in a ginger clam broth, and wok-seared thigh of king crab paired with an oyster emulsion. He follows it all with desserts like crème brûlée baked in a coconut.
