Many organizations have asked employees to work remotely during the coronavirus outbreak. If you've never worked from home, this can be a challenge.  For those new to remote working, here are some tips on how to make it work. 

Self-Care

  1.   Cut yourself some slack. Working from home can be a big transition. You might feel any combination of lonely, isolated, stressed, frustrated, anxious, unmotivated, or -- on the other hand -- relieved, relaxed, energized, or productive. It's all OK and normal. Any transition takes time to get used to, so try to be easy on yourself.
  2.   Take scheduled breaks. Try setting an alarm to get up and stretch every hour or so. (Standing desks, which at home may mean perching your laptop on top of a bookshelf, also pay

COVID 19 Impacts Park City - These Restaurants are Open for Curbside Take-out

Our community joins many across the world in a unified effort to reduce the impacts of COVID-19. Summit County Health Deparmtent has determined that the closure of a wide variety of venues is critical to minimize further community spread. As a result, the county has prohibited all dine-in food service. Restaurants are permitted to offer take-out through curbside or drive-thru service.

We will we continue to monitor and support our area restaurants. Currently, the following restaurants will be offering curbside takeout service:

  • 11 Hauz: Open for normal business hours. Place online orders here. (435) 200-8972.
  • Duke’s Park City: Meal drop-off and pick-up options.

The Provo developer that plans to acquire the Park City Mountain Resort parking lots from Vail Resorts has planned three public open houses during March.  PEG Companies concept for the development will be outlined in the open houses.  Project representatives along with architects, traffic engineers, and contractors will be there on behalf of the developers.  The open houses are as follows:  March 9 from 5:30-7:30pm at Hyatt Place, March 18 5:30-7:30pm at the Rockwell Room (268 Main Street), and March 24 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Hyatt Place.

The 2020 Deer Valley Music Festival has been announced and that means summer is near!  This will be the seventeenth season of providing chamber music, classical and pops offerings in several venues: Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, St. Mary’s Church; and salon events in private homes in the Park City area.  Some of the artists this year playing with the Utah Symphony are: Ben Folds, Kool & Gang, Beach Boys, and Little River Band.
