Michigan-based ski resort operator Boyne Resorts has reached an agreement to assume outright ownership of six ski resorts it's operating under long-term lease agreements from Maine to Washington State.  One of those ski resorts is Brighton Ski Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City.  For more on this new go here: Boyne to assume ownership of Brighton

Park City Film Series - This week the Park City - Film Series will present Paul Thomas Anderson's Academy Award-winning "Phantom Thread," which is rated R.  "Phantom Thread," is about renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock played by Daniel Day-Lewis.  Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 6pm, at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library.  Tickets are $8 for general admission and $7 for students and seniors.

The Olympic Legacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization responsible for operating the Utah Olympic Park, Soldier Hollow and the Utah Olympic Oval.    President of the Foundation went before the Summit County Council last week to ask the county's help in securing bond financing for three multi-million-dollar projects.  The main project that would be financed under the bond would be the construction of a four-story, 72-unit athlete and work force housing building. The $13.2 million project would serve local and visiting athletes, as well as portions of Utah Olympic Park's work force.
