The approval consists of:  1498 residential units, 10 hotel units, a hotel for the benefit of the military, 250,000 sq feet of commercial space, recreation center, and housing for the workforce.  The project also call for expansion of Deer Valley Resort with six new lifts, which will expand the resort by an estimated 900 acres.  It will be designed as a resort village with easy walk-ability, ski beach, ice-skating rink, and plenty of parking for skiers.  The development could take up to 40 years to complete.
