The National Ability Centers biggest fundraiser Red, White and Snow, starts this Thursday March 7th and goes through Saturday March 9th, in Park City. Red, White, and Snow raises 20 percent of the National Ability Centers annual budget, and is in it's 15th year. There are intimate dinners at private homes with high profile chefs and vintners, auctions, and a Gala. New this year is a Fisher Sibling Rivalry Tasting at Uncorked on Thursday at Stein Eriksen Lodge, the Fisher siblings will serve attendees the different varieties of their wines along with heavy hor d' oeuvres. Actor Scott Wolf will emceed the Saturday night gala at Montage Deer Valley, where there will be a live auction with spectacular trips, art, and more.
On Friday afternoon Wine on the Mountain will take place, which is a luncheon where attendees can dress up in 80's retro ski gear. That night the vintner dinners take place in many private homes. This is a great event and so important to the amazing National Ability Center that as their mission statement says: "Empowers individuals of all abilities by building self-esteem, confidence and lifetime skills through sport, recreation and educational programs."
