Park City Dine About is a two-week dining event that features amazing values for lunch and dinner in Park City!  It is the perfect time to get out and try those Park City restaurants you haven't gone to in a while or good excuse just to get out for a yummy meal at great prices.  The fun begins October 1 and goes through October 14, offering two-course lunches for $10 or $15 per person and three-course dinners for $20 or $40 per person.  

Many restaurants are participating including those in around Main Street, Deer Valley, Canyons area, and Kimball Junction.  Just some of the places to choose from include: Cafe Terigo, Deer Valley Grocery-Cafe, Chimayo, Firewood on Main, Handle, Red Rock Junction, Wasatch Brew Pub, Cafe Trio, Silver Star Cafe and more!

Craig took this photo of the “Harvest Moon” 9/24 as it came up over the Park City mountains. Farmers welcomed the extended hours of light provided by this September full moon, right at the peak time of harvesting in the fields.

Autumn Aloft Hot Air Balloon Festival is returning to Park City this weekend!  The hot air balloon launches will begin at 8am on Saturday the 15th at the North 40 Fields which is off Kearns Blvd.   There will be a DJ there spinning music and giving information about the balloons along with hot chocolate and coffee.  There will also be free tethered rides.  Saturday night the event moves to Main Street in Park City where 8 balloons will feature a "candlestick" where the pilots will fire the engines from the exposed baskets, resulting in a light show.  There will be another balloon launch Sunday morning.

Here are a few of the fun things happening this weekend in Park City.  The weather is suppose to be great, so also a perfect time for a hike or bike ride with less people here now the kids are back in school! 

Park City Film Series -  The Park City Film Series will begin its 2018-2019 season this weekend!  They are starting it off with a great film which premiered here in Park City at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" is a film about Fred Rodgers and his famous children's show, "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood."  Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 6pm at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library.

The Ikon Pass just announced early today that they are adding two more Utah Resorts to their pass: Solitude and Brighton Resort! The Inaugural Brunch at Altitude will take over the Summit Watch Plaza (780 Main Street) in Park City on Saturday September 22nd.  This event put on by Park City Magazine will celebrate their love of brunch and will benefit the Peace House.   Attendees will get to savor the yummy brunch samples from local vendors, enjoy live entertainment, play yard games, spirit garden for those 21+ (with a Bloody Mary Smackdown), breakfast in bed photo booth, and silent auction items for the Peace House.

Here are just a few of the fun things happening this weekend in Park City, Utah: 

Neil Simon Festival - The Neil Simon Festival will present Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical, Tony Award-winning "Biloxi Blues" at the Egyptian Theater on Main Street. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 6pm. Tickets range from $19 to $29.  Go to www.parkcityshows.com for more info.  

Park City Improv - Come have a night of laughter with Park City Improv and its off-the-cuff comedy Friday at 8pm at the Park City Library.  This is a free event but geared more for teens and older.  

Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real - The Deer Valley Concert Series will present Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real with M. Ward and Elsie Davis at 6pm on Saturday

The annual elite cycling race, Tour of Utah, will return to Park City this year for the two final stages of the race.  That means if you are in Park City this weekend you will be able to see world-class cyclists compete!  The fifth leg of the race is on Saturday and will begin at Canyons Village area about 11:30am.  The race will head to Old Ranch Road, then to the frontage road or Old Highway 40 to access SR 248 where they will head up to the Woodland and Kamas areas.  They will return to Park City via Browns Canyon past the Park City High School and then go up Guardmans Pass between 1:45pm and 3:00pm.  They will end the race at Snowbird. 

The final leg of race Stage 6 takes place Sunday and will start and end on Main Street in Park City.  Main Street
