The Talisker Club Owners, Storied Development, LLC, have now acquired a building on the corner of Main Street and Heber Avenue that previously housed the restaurant Coal & Lumber. It plans to open a restaurant, bar and member-only lounge in the space. Storied Development, LLC bought the Talisker Club in January of 2018 and have been looking for spot on Main Street for its private membership ever since. They closed on the building in the heart of Old Town the last week of January this year.
They plan to remodel the two-story just over 5400 square foot building to include a fine dining restaurant, and bar that will be open to the public on the main level. The lower level will be open only to Talisker Club members. It is expected to include a bar, lounge, ski storage and a patio. They hope to be open this summer.
Storied Development also plans to expand some of the amenities at its properties in Empire Pass and Tuhaye this year. The company plans to add a day spa and expand the kid's program at the Talisker Tower, a lodge located in Empire Pass, and add a pool and an outdoor park at Tuhaye.
