Deer Valley Snow

Craig is up to his knees in snow at Empire Pass in Deer Valley!

Park City and Deer Valley received over 40 inches of snow in 3 days over Thanksgiving, a great start to the ski season.

Deer Valley will open for skiing December 7 and we hope to see you on the slopes opening day!

Though middle class households are pinching their pennies, they still desire homeownership as a means to increase personal wealth, according to a new study by personal finance resource SmartAsset. Researchers looked at the states in which the middle class is the strongest financially, factoring in housing costs, incomes, and job growth, among other criteria.  Utah came in at #1, see the chart below:

The Park City Miners Football team is headed to the State 4A title game on Friday at the Rice-Eccles Stadium! They defeated Pine View in the state playoff semifinals last Thursday to maintain their undefeated record for the season.  The Miners will be playing Sky View High School in the final at 11am on Friday.  Park City High School is releasing its students early on that day so they can attend the game.

Live PC Give PC

Live PC Give PC's annual day of fundraising is tomorrow Friday November 8th!  Anyone living in or around Park City will get a chance to give to their favorite local nonprofits, on a day where the whole community comes together to support one another.  Anyone can donate to one or mulitple nonprofits online by going to: https://www.livepcgivepc.org/giving-events/pc19

The foundation's goal for this year's event is to get 5,000 donors.  Last year they registered 4,790 donors and pulled in 2.4 Million.   The Live PC Give PC headquarters will be at High West Distillery, and starting at 8pm the foundation will host its traditional Live PC Give PC celebration that is open to anyone 21 and over and will track the number of donors and amount of donations.

The Budweiser Clydesdale horses are scheduled to appear on Main Street on Saturday from noon to 2pm, as part of an event marking the loosening of beer regulations in Utah!  The key change involves grocery and convenience stores moving to beers of up to 5% alcohol by volume, a stronger category than what had been available for decades. Drinking establishments will also be allowed to have beer of up to 5% ABV on draft.

They will be stopping at No Name Saloon and at the bottom of Main at Collies. Interesting tidbit from the Budweiser Site about the origins of the Clydesdales:
