Park City's Flying Dog trail was named one of the top 10 Mountain Biking in North America by Onthesnow.com! Ski resort towns are normally known for their great mountain biking trails and Park City certainly delivers in this category. With over 400 miles of trails and so many option for mountain biking it isn't a surprise that a trail in Park City made the list. The Flying Dog trail is located in the Glenwild area of Park City which has a plethora of trails to enjoy year round. It is a scenic and moderate trail but there are several options to make your ride more difficult or easier. There are options of 10, 16 or 23 mile options or something for everyone.
Even in the winter the fantastic non-profit Mountain Trails Foundation keeps all the trails in Park City in tip top shape, grooming some for cross-country skiing, and giving updates on their website with current trail conditions. We are so lucky to have such an abundance of trails here for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
