Halloween on Historic Park City’s Main Street was named one of the top Halloween celebrations in the country by Travel and Leisure magazine and we couldn't agree more!

Historic Main Street Merchants open up their doors to trick-or-treaters on Halloween for a safe and fun way to see all the amazing costumes! The street is packed (and closed to cars for the afternoon) with kids and parents getting tons of candy at the local businesses from 3-5.  

And of course it wouldn’t be Park City if the dogs weren’t included in the festivities. Following trick-or-treating is the Howl-O-Ween Dog

Forbes’ inaugural list of “Most Luxurious Hotels in the World” has included Stein Eriksen Lodge on the very select list of 58 hotels worldwide.  Stein Eriksen Lodge which is located in the Silver Lake area of Deer Valley is one of only 25 in the United States to make the list and the only one in all of Utah!

The third quarter market report for the Wasatch Back is out and it includes the areas of: Park City Proper, Synderville Basin, Jordanelle, Heber Valley, and East Summit County.  It is important to be in the know of what is happening with the real estate market so you can make informed decisions when buying of selling a home in Park City or the surrounding areas.   When looking at the report remember that the Park City area is very segmented with many different areas with different price points,and activity all within the city limits.  Please reach out to us to get more details on a particular area such as Deer Valley, Park Meadows, or Old Town.

The Park City Institute's 2018-19 Season continues at the Eccles Center with the Institute’s mission to entertain, educate and illuminate with a lineup of world-renowned dance companies, musicians, authors, thinkers, adventurers and leaders.  The shows begin in November and go through April.  Tickets are now available to the general public to buy and there are some great shows to see this season!

Here is just a sampling of the line-up:  Bob Woodward, Parson Dance, Jodi Kantor, National Geographic Live (with 3 different shows), and New Year's Eve Celebration with Sutton Foster.  All shows are the The Eccles Center on Kearns Blvd in Park City.  This year they are offering $5 tickets to all Summit County Students grades K-12, so the whole family can have

The snow began to fall Sunday night and left a nice dusting up high on the peaks of the mountains in Park City.  Then Monday night it snowed again bringing the snow lower and leaving a few inches on the runs in Upper Deer Valley and roof tops of the homes in Silver Lake and Empire Pass.  Then Tuesday night the big storm came and all of Park City woke up to several inches of snow!  Deer Valley is saying between 8-10 inches fell and Alta is reporting 14 inches in the last 24 hours!  It is a winter wonderland in early October.   The boots and hats had to come out this morning and we have all kinds of mixed feelings about it.  

With Park City Resort opening day scheduled in about 48 days and Deer Valley Resort in about 58 days the snow is a welcome site

The Epic Pass gives you access to the largest resort in the United States, Park City Resort right here in Park City along with 65 other resorts!  Early bird pricing is still happening but that ends on October 7th!  So, you only have a few more days to get the best deal and secure a winter of powder skiing here in Utah and several other places around the globe.  If you can't be globe trotting this winter you can always just purchase the Epic Local Pass that gives you 27 resorts with restrictions on major holidays.  

Right now the Epic Pass (unrestricted, unlimited skiing/snowboarding at all 65 resorts) is $929, the Epic Local Pass (with restrictions and 27 resorts) is $689.

New Tower Club Residences

The new owner of the Talisker Club, Storied Development, will be adding 14 Luxury Residences to the existing Tower Club building in Empire Pass. Owners will enjoy perfect ski in/out access to the Silver Buck ski run at Deer Valley Resort, as well as all the onsite amenities to the Tower Club, restaurant/lounge with gourmet dining, robust fitness center activities, and the onsite spa services.

There will be only 14 residences with the convenience of single level living, floor to ceiling glass, and adjoining outdoor decks to take in the views. Park City Dine About is a two-week dining event that features amazing values for lunch and dinner in Park City!  It is the perfect time to get out and try those Park City restaurants you haven't gone to in a while or good excuse just to get out for a yummy meal at great prices.  The fun begins October 1 and goes through October 14, offering two-course lunches for $10 or $15 per person and three-course dinners for $20 or $40 per person.
